Elderna operates this website to connect families with Abby N. Wilson, a licensed Ohio elder law attorney. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

When you complete the Medicaid Protection Assessment, we collect the following:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your preferred contact method and best time to reach you
  • Your relationship to the person in care
  • Your answers to the assessment questions regarding care status, assets, income, legal authority, and family situation
  • The state where the person in care is located

We do not collect payment information. We do not require account creation. We do not collect information from children under 13.

How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used to:

  • Route your assessment to Abby N. Wilson for review
  • Send you a confirmation email with your assessment result and next steps
  • Contact you to schedule an attorney review if you request one
  • Send a scheduled series of follow-up emails, and text messages if you opt in, based on your assessment tier, until you schedule a call, opt out, or the sequence ends

If you check the text-message opt-in box during the assessment, you agree to receive text messages from Elderna; message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — stores your assessment submission and contact information in our lead database. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
  • Resend — sends your confirmation email and any follow-up emails. Subject to Resend's privacy policy.
  • Twilio — sends text messages if you opt in. Subject to Twilio's privacy policy.
  • Airtable — may also be used internally to track your assessment through our intake process. Subject to Airtable's privacy policy.
  • Cal.com — used for scheduling attorney review calls. Subject to Cal.com's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — loads typefaces for site display. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Data Retention

Assessment submissions and contact information are stored in our lead database for as long as reasonably necessary to complete your intake and review, follow up with you, and maintain records of the relationship. We do not sell this data, and you can request deletion at any time as described in "Your Rights" below.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any information you submitted through this site by contacting us via the scheduling link below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
