Elderna operates this website to connect families with Medicaid planning attorneys. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

When you complete the Medicaid Protection Assessment, we collect the following:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your preferred contact method and best time to reach you
  • Your relationship to the person in care
  • Your answers to the assessment questions regarding care status, assets, income, legal authority, and family situation
  • The state where the person in care is located

We do not collect payment information. We do not require account creation. We do not collect information from children under 13.

How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used solely to:

  • Route your assessment to a licensed elder law attorney for review
  • Send you a confirmation email with your assessment result and next steps
  • Contact you to schedule an attorney review if you request one

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Formspree — receives and transmits your assessment submission to our attorney intake team. Subject to Formspree's privacy policy.
  • EmailJS — sends the confirmation email to the address you provide. Subject to EmailJS's privacy policy.
  • Cal.com — used for scheduling attorney review calls. Subject to Cal.com's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — loads typefaces for site display. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

Data Retention

Assessment submissions are retained only as long as necessary to complete the intake and review process. We do not maintain a long-term database of user submissions beyond what is held by the third-party services listed above.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any information you submitted through this site by contacting us via the scheduling link below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
